Summary | 0003847: CMS-Page
Description | A CMS-Page can also be displayed in the categories-tree. Therefore you choose the option “category” instead of “snippet”. Then you’ve got the possibility to decide in which category or subcategory the CMS-Page to be displayed. The SEO-URL is set accordingly. If you change your mind afterwards and change the status of the CMS-Page back to an ordinary snippet, the CMS-Page still keeps its relation the formally chosen category and the generated SEO-URL also stays the same.

Reminder sent to: tronet Hi, I want ask to you what are the case you need such functionality, the generated SEO-URL? When are you using this functionality? Best regards |
|
I think its more a basic case - if used as snippet, the unnecessary SEO-URL should be no longer present. As well it leads visitors from external to a wrong place. |

If you change your mind afterwards and change the status of the CMS-Page back to an ordinary snippet, the CMS-Page still keeps its relation the formally chosen category and the generated SEO-URL also stays the same. This behavior is not wanted. |

Reminder sent to: tronet Hi, You are right we will fix it. For this time you can set SEO-URL manually in the admin setting. |
