| Summary | 0000956: Categories with price range do filter all articles within this range instead of only these articles in the parent-category | ||||
| Description | You can select a parent category for any category with price-range. For example you have a category "to 10 eur" as child of "bar equipment". Position in the category tree is fine, but there are not only products with a price below 10 eur from the category "bar equipment". You will unfortunately get all shop products with a price below 10 eur... I hope I made this clear ;-) | ||||

Hey, perhaps I misplaced this somehow. The problem is for me a bug, because this way it doesn´t make any sense. Think of a shop with categories "pants for men" and "pants for women". Then you place a category "to 100 euro" as child of "pants for men" with pricerange and you´ll get pants for women too. btw, Marco Steinhäuser himself considered to report this issue as bug ;-) http://www.oxid-esales.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1359 |
