| Description | to reproduce - change the shippings-costs-option in admin, that it shows netto and vat for shipping-costs in the basket. - now go to frontend, put something in basket, open basket - go to step 2, option 1, enter address with country austria, fill in data including company-name and ATU number - back to step 1. You will see now vat-free netto-prices for the products, whats correct, and shipping-costs 6,90€, whats wrong (should be 6,90 - 19% ) - now to step 2, remove the ATU number or the company-name, back to step 1 - you'll see brutto prices for your products (also correct), as well es two lines for the shipping-costs: netto plus vat, but no brutto, which (i guess) is also not as intended, because there is no brutto-price displayed for the shipping-costs. | ||||

Reminder sent to: tjungcl Checked this case. As I understood here are two issues: 1. When customer is a Company (has inserted VATID number), the VAT is not deducted from the Shipping costs amount, if this amount is Brut price (option "Enter Shipping Costs as net Price" (Core Settings->Settings->VAT) is ON). In this case the Shipping cost should be 6.90-VAT%. Currently - it always displays the same amount as inserted for Shipping costs, without matter if this is Net or Brut price. 2. When option "Display VAT contained in Shipping Costs in Shopping Cart and Invoice" is ON, the line Brut price is missing in the basket. Means - when amount is divided to Net price and VAT, you want a Brut price as a Total of these lines. Please confirm. Best regards, |

Issue 2 confirmed. Issue 1: Nearly :-) I did not enable option "Enter Shipping Cost as net Price". I left it default (off) and also didn't change the Vat% or shipping-cost für Austria => so 6,90€ should be interpreted as brutto. Netto should be 6,90€ - 19%. When a customer is a company with VATID number, the product-prices in basket correctly change to netto, so the shipping-costs should change to netto, too, but they dont. |

Issue 1 - yep, exactly this I wanted to mention :) Issue 2 - also Payment costs are displayed like this. To include the lines with Brutto prices in these cases - need some changes in Basket layout, so also need an approval from our Tax expert. |
