The most important link was missing for me: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/exchange-team-blog/exchange-online-to-retire-basic-auth-for-client-submission-smtp/ba-p/4114750 That also explains why this was not reported earlier as the last 2 links above suggested. From that this deactivation should have happened 2 years ago. The new date seems to be September 2025 |
