In principle you are right. But the note "// Enable temporarily in case you can't access the backend due to broken views" in the config.inc is there for a reason. The only purpose for this option is to enable you to repair the views in case they got broken by some accident. We do NOT support running the shop (or even change data) with this option enabled. Note: In one of the upcoming major releases we will try to remove the views entirely. Until then they are mandatory for the shop to function correctly. |
