Summary	0006875: Primary key 32 bit long as Char(32) latain_
Description	Why don't you use Binary(16) to store md5? This is only 16bit long and together with other indizes in OXID DB you will save more then a half of required space in ROM and RAM!!! And this also will make OXID faster. Any comments to this? Kind Regards! Tim

As of now there are a lot of other possible improvements with more benefit in our backlog though. Apart from that our assessment is, that this is a very risky BC break. So we will pick other things with less risk and higher reward earlier on.
