The dropdown box with the content titles gets filtered, when more letters are typed. So the proposals are limited automatically by each letter and a sorting isn't necessary anymore. |

@QS: Correct. Sorry we need to clarify: If visual CMS content is listed as menu points in frontend, we want to change the order of them. So the existing sort field could be used to change the order the content appears in the menu. |

To be sure, please provide a step by step instruction and/or a screenshot. |

Tested with OXID 5.3.6 (EE) and Flow Theme. 1. Create a new visual cms content with type "category" and set it to active. 2. The content will appear in the categories section in theme footer, but in a random order, so it's not possible to change the order of visual cms contents to be displayed. |

You can sort a cms page within categories with the "Insert before" option in visual cms. See added screenshot. |

Hi QS, unfortunately the pages added via Visual CMS are not listed inside this dropdown, only OXID categories. |
