Summary0006495: quantity discount prices do not work if "variants inherit prices from father" is set
DescriptionUsing variants with several discounted prices will not work.
Prices are not being displayed.
Prices are not being calculated.

An article, with normal price of 10 € and discount price of 9 € from 10 pcs on will still be calculated with 10€ each, even when more that 10 pcs are in cart.
Steps To ReproduceGoto general setting in admin, System, Variants.
Enable "variants inherit prices from father".

Check with an articles whos variants have got discount prices.
Additional InformationReproduced it in demo shop with azure and flow theme.

I can't reproduce it with the version 5.3.1. Please add further steps how to reproduce this issue.
Also please have a look at the picture b6495_not_reproducible.png which I have attached. The quantity discount will be displayed on the details page and the basket calculates just fine.

I have not got an EE to try.
Still, in my PE 4.10.1 it is reproducable and I could reproduce it in the PE demo shop.

I also tested it with the Professional Edition and with our demoshop (PE). So I guess there is a missing information wich withholds me from reproducing the behavior.
Please provide more details how this issue can be reproduced. A step by step guide would be nice.

I will attach a word file, which contains all details to reproduce.
Please notice, that the pictures have been taken in the oxid demo shop.
I have done this today (05.09.2016).

I tried to make it a pdf, but my adobe app crashed every single time, I tried printing this file. Sorry.

Thank you for providing the PDF.

I missed that the variant get the bulk prices.
Because the option "Variants inherit Scale Prices from "Parent" Product" has to be activated, I thought the parent article get the bulk prices as the option name implies.

But the case described by the PDF is about a parent article which doesn't have scale prices by itself. So the variants inheriting an empty scale price set. This happens because the shop overwrites the variant setting for the scale prices, even if they are empty.

So the conclusion is to create a entry as a feature request for a new option like "variant get the scale prices from the parent if the parent has a scale price setting."
