Summary0005165: Image heredity of variant pictures is wrong
DescriptionA main product has got six images. For a variant of this product, three different images are listed.
If the main product is shown, all six images are visible. If you choose a variant, the three variant images will replace the first three images of the six main product images. The remaining images of the main product are still visible.
e.g.: http://demoshop.oxid-esales.com/professional-edition/en/Gear/Fashion/For-Him/Shirts-Co/Kuyichi-T-Shirt-TIGER.html

If you choose a variant only the images of these variant should be visible. Only if the variant has no images safed, the images of the main product must still be visible.

this schould be the shop-admins choice as it makes sense sometimes to inherit all (additional) pictures which are set in parent product but not in child

There are some more issues about inheritance from parent to child (variant), maybe it is time now to think about all of them once again.
