| Summary | 0004974: Why is it necessary for "Activate LDAP authentification" to edit file core/oxldap.php? -> contradicts "never touch core" | ||||
| Description | If you go to master settings->Core settings->System, there is "Activate LDAP authentification (Please edit file core/oxldap.php)". I just learned to "never touch core". Is it really needed to change this script? Can't I use stuff like custom_config.inc.php or something? | ||||

in OXID you can extend basically all classes, also core class on your needs. to be more clear label "Activate LDAP authentification (Please edit file core/oxldap.php)" change to "Activate LDAP authentification" + add help button to describe where you can find responsible class for modification if it is needed. |
