| Description | Updating normal from 4.4.8 to 4.5 doesn`t work propper. I don`t know which error I could have done within the update process, but this is now my second shop I want to update and again the same errors. Something themes to go wrong within oxconfig or / and oxconfigdisplay-tables. I can`t save any system.settings within the admin-Panel, after I installed the update. It is independent from the theme. So within "theme-config" there are no possibilities to put in. There are o input fields and so on. My easiest and the only solution to get the shop running again is deleting both tables and creating them again. So the settings are lost an I have to put them in again. But thats not really fine. I updated some "older" shops an NOT a fresh copy of perhaps CE 4.4.8 Updating a fresh shop 4.4.8 doesn`t have these probs. Any idea? | ||||

you can close it. Was a collation problem. Perhaps you can improve the update-sql`s routine with a collation check. |

We will set the collation for tables, as a fix for the same issue, mentioned in 0003260. Here the entry is closed as duplicate. Thank you for your feedback. |
