Summary | 0002948: eFire PayPal Manual should be updatet quickly -> no information included to update VIEWS after installation | ||||
Description | After installation of eFire PayPal there are missing the categories and articels in backend! They are not lost, just not shown. If you update the VIEWS below Service -> Tools everything is ok then. Unfortunately there is no hint in the manual for the eFire PayPal portlet. Please add. | ||||

Reminder sent to: ray Hi, Actually - Updating Views is not needed after installing PayPal module, because it does not make any changes in existing DB structure (just inserts new data into oxpayment tables and creates new table). Maybe you installed some other module together with PayPal, which changes DB structure? Could you please tell version of your eShop and PayPal module? (we'll check if some older version did structural changes in DB). |

Please search Forums with keyword "Service -> Tools -> VIEWS" and you will find several problems with this case. Not all, but many of them refer to problems after installing eFire PayPal. Could be not caused by the PayPal-module itself, but perhaps by the shop-connector? As you need both to run the portlet.
