Descriptionsee oxvarianthandler::buildMdVariants, where it calls to variant getLink, getPrice, and sets it to subvariant via addNames.

This information is not always necessary (depends on theme - e.g. for lists) and should be computed on demand. Thus, it may be better to assign whole loaded variant object handle.

It's request about improving source code, so it's moved to the ToDo list for future version, when this can be done together with other technical improvements.
