Description | In admin area there is an checkbox for activate the Double-Opt-In option for newsletter. (Master Settings -> Core Settings -> Settings -> Administration -> Activate Double Opt-In if Users register for Newsletter during Checkout ) If this box is checked, an email with an link will be send to the user, otherwise no email will be send and the newslettersubscribtion is automaticly done. But it doesn't matter if this box is checked or not, there is allways an email, that will be send to the user. In oxuser.php in function setNewsSubscription the value of $blSendOptIn is allways be TRUE. | ||||

this option affects only newsletter sending in order step2. but according option help description, it should affect whole eshop. in this way eshop owners are misguided. |
