| Description | In 3rd version eShop Icons for products were generated automatically when option "Generate Icons automatically (might cause the system to slow-down essentially)" was ON, without matter if picture is uploaded manually using Admin interface, or just by copying pictures over ftp (and inserting Article records directly to DB). In 4th version eShop Icons for products are generated ONLY when pictures are uploaded manualy using Admin interface and icons are not generated, if it is imported over FTP (and DB). This action does not depend on the option "Generate Icons automatically from Thumbnails (might slow down your server)". Need to fix this behavior: No matter how pictures are uploaded to article (Admin or imported directly), the icons (if missing) always should be generated automatically and should not depend on option "Generate Icons automatically...". | ||||

This will be fixed together with implementation of related feature: http://oxid.uservoice.com/pages/31940-feature-requests/suggestions/363562-add-a-possibility-to-upload-one-base-picture?ref=title It's already planned for Next Major release. Until then bug entry is suspended. |
