Summary | 0005731: acute accent is not displayed properly |
---|
Description | The acute accent (´) is written to DB as entity &# 180; (space for formatting issues), but isn't decoded when read from the DB again, and displayed as &# 180; in shop. |
---|
Steps To Reproduce | For example put a single '´' in the Street name while registering a user. |
---|
Additional Information | The acute accent usually isn't used as a separate character (as opposed to, for example 'é', which works fine in shop), so that issue is not that critical. On the other hand, it is often mistakenly used by continental Europeans as replacement for a regular apostrophe. So the issue mentioned above should be fixed. |
