Product Version | 4.7.1 / 5.0.1 revision 52468
Summary | 0004789: Template blocks path documentation misleading
Description | Here http://wiki.oxidforge.org/Downloads/4.7.0_5.0.0#Module_handler_changes it says: "From version 4.7/5.0 on, please use the full file name including path (from module directory) in oxtplblocks:OXFILE. File names without a path will be supported for some time." This is ambiguous because "module directory" could be your own module directory or /modules directory. Maybe that's why in this german translation it says: http://www.oxid-esales.com/de/support-services/dokumentation-und-hilfe/oxid-eshop/releases/releases-2012/oxid-eshop-470500.html "Dateien müssen mit Dateinamen und Pfad ab dem Verzeichnis /modules angegeben werden (oxtplblocks:OXFILE)." This is wrong, correct is path from your own module folder, not from /modules.

Thank you for pointing that out. Specified sentence in oxidforge module handling doc changed to: "From version 4.7/5.0 on, please use the full file name including path (from "your_module" directory if it exists or from general "modules" directory if not) in oxtplblocks:OXFILE." And in http://www.oxid-esales.com/de/support-services/dokumentation-und-hilfe/oxid-eshop/releases/releases-2012/oxid-eshop-470500.html change will follow ASAP. |
