Summary | 0002517: Gift Wrapping ist multiplied instaed of just added to the basket
Description | Insted of just adding the gift wrapping to the basket the wrapping ist also multiplied with the amount of articles. Normaly you only have to pay once für the wrapping. Example: Giftwrapping: 2 Euro You buy 5 pair of socks Total Amount: Price of the Socks + 10 Euro (5 x 2€ gift wrapping) = that 8€ to much. Maybe sometimes multipling makes sense (for very large articles), but normally ist not needed. Maybe this can be optional.

Reminder sent to: ChristophH Hi, In general, we cannot switch the default functionality that wrapping should be calculated once per unique product position (not per single item), as there are many cases, when wrapping is needed in the way how it works now (i.e. if selling refrigerators - would be needed to wrapp each of units). The best way to implement that would be to make it optional, and even more - let the customer itself select how to wrap the buying products in his order (additional options would be needed in frontend, in wrapping selection page). But that would be implementing new/additional feature request in eShop, thought might be useful for lot of shops. Please insert your feature request to the uservoice system (where all feature requests are tracked for OXID eShop): http://oxid.uservoice.com/forums/31940-feature-requests Thank you for good idea. |
