| Description | OxSeoEncoder seems to have problems with Article like 'DIN lang 1/3 A4 / A6' ? 'EIN Fach' ? '1/3 A4 Prospektständer BIO'. Resulting SEO URL 'DIN-lang-1/3-A4/A6/EIN-Fach/1-3-A4- Prospektstaender-BIO.html' is wrong, expected is 'DIN-lang-1/3-A4-/-A6/EIN- Fach/1/3-A4-Prospektstaender-BIO.html'. Manual settings to the expected Value over the backend results to the wrong value. Direct setting in the oxseo table results into an error. The OxSeoEncoder seems to have problems with ' / ' strings. A compare of an backup from 23.09.2009 shows 150 article seo url with these error. Fast resolution was an apache rewritemap of right/wrong seo urls. | ||||

Since 4.2.0 release after implementing changes in seo encoder (due to new seo concept) strings from which url is build is cleaned up, so only alphabetic characters and "-" symbol are left. Categories, products ant other titles are separated with "/". But in general there should be no problems with "/" at any place of url. If problem persist after version update, even after resetting SEO urls, this case should be investigated on customer server. |
