| Description | The mod_rewrite test during shop setup fails when shop base folder is protected with htaccess. Thus, the shop cannot be installed in a protected folder. Removing the htaccess protection resolves this problem. The mod_rewrite test should function in a htacess protected folder. Basicaly - this is a feature request, because environment where the shop is installed (especially the permisions and access to the files) depends on administration of the server. In this case we can suggest some solutions for such cases, which would help to avoid some problems for more our clients in the future. So this request is moved to customers whishlist with a high priority and will be considered about solution what could be implemented. Here the entry is closed. Thank you for your report. |
