Summary | 0001091: replace ADOdb with PDO?
Description | Hi there. I was wondering why OXID still uses ADOdb in Version 4, which requires PHP 5.2, which includes the PDO Library. Using PDO would modernize a integral Part of OXID, and probably will enhance performance too, due it's C based and ADOdb is a script based Library. It would make OXID more lightweight, too because ADOdb hasn't to be shipped and utilized anymore. It's no enhancement for a minor release, but probably for OXID 4.2 oder OXID 5.
