I guess, if you delete SEO ID's after your change it will work. |

Cannot reproduce the case. Tried the same steps as written here, but for me it works good. The option "Fixed" in the SEO tab protects entered URL from the "Reset SEO IDs" action. In case if SEO IDs are reset, all Fixed urls remains the same. And for me it ok. Also during refresh in frontend it does not return back to previous url. Problem might be in the cached content. Try to delete all browser cache, cookies, files from tmp dir. |
