Summary0003172: Maybe duplicated content for search engines because of canonical tags
DescriptionVariant articles generates nearly identical canonical tags.
The canoncial tag for a parent article of variants looks like this:

<link rel="canonical" href="http://demoshop.oxid-esales.com/professional-edition/Bekleidung/Fashion/Fuer-Ihn/Shirts-Co/Kuyichi-T-Shirt-TIGER.html">

a link for an variant of this article looks like this:

<link rel="canonical" href="http://demoshop.oxid-esales.com/professional-edition/Bekleidung/Fashion/Fuer-Ihn/Shirts-Co/Kuyichi-T-Shirt-TIGER-S-grau.html">

The search engine interpret this perhaps as duplicate content.
It should be, that the links for the variants are the same as for the parent article.

Google-Webmastertools report the meta and title for this example as duplicate content.

Reminder sent to: michael_keiluweit

All meta info depends on what data is in product description. In current case variants has same description as parent or even ho description, thus data is taken from parent. So if you change text everyghing should be fine.
