| Description | The new Shop-Template isn`t really good inducible for spiders. Checking for example a detail-site, the content would be spiderded in this order: - languages - currencys - service - login - categories - PRODUKT Better and this is really important would be: - PRODUKT - You are here - Kategorie(s) - ..... Almost within every site these really UNIMPRTANT site content from languages to login is the first what spiders see. Normal would be that the morst important content is FIRST. Thats really IMPORTANT! I have solved this "years ago" with the old Version of the OXID-Shop and I have reached several (much) Top 10 Rankings with this technic. I don`t understand why this ins`t realized within the new Templates even tough it can be solved with some changes within css and 3 Templates. Hope you agree with my idea and it is important for you too. | ||||

Reminder sent to: webtools Hi, Thank you for your notes and hints for improvement. But, sorry, we cannot include this in default eShop, because: - how google calculates the ranking is still not fully clear. So these hints are not fully proven; - to do such workarounds from default content is very OK for custom shops, but it's wrong way to implement something in default eShop, based on suspicions. Your achievements (with shops in top10) proves, that you are expert in SEO. So we would really appreciate such notes/hints from you (i.e. how to customize eShop to increase SEO ranking) written in the wiki for all eShop developers here: http://wiki.oxidforge.org/Tutorials Best regards, |
