I've checked up the database and have seen that if you make multiple orders with the same mail address (without registration). The user from the order before will be deleted in the DB. So you have no customer number anymore in the order list.

I don't know if it is a bug or a feature :) but in my opinion it should be ether created multiple users for each order or oxid should use the same user for the orders that made after.
Steps To Reproduce1) Goto https://demoshop.oxid-esales.com/professional-edition/
2) Make an order (without registration)
4) Open admin panel, you see the order you've done, the customer has an custom number
4) Make an second order (without registration, but with the same mail address as before)
5) open admin panel again
6) In order list you've now got these two orders, but the customer in the order you've made first has no customer number anymore.
