Summary	0006142: An inherited product with variants isn't editable.
Description	If you have an inherited product with viariants, the "Save" button will be disabled.
Steps To Reproduce	1. Create a sub-shop and select "Shop inherits all inheritable items (products, discounts etc) from it's parent shop.". 2. Create a product in the master shop and add at least one variant. 3. Go to the sub-shop in the administration backend. 4. Select the created product under "Administer Products" --> "Products". 5. Take a look to the "Save" button. Repeat the fouth and fifth step again in the master-shop.

florian.auer 2015-10-05 17:18 reporter ~0011251	Hi s.krenz, I assume you expected the product to be editable in the subshop. However, as this is an inherited item, it can only be edited in the parent shop. This is intended behavior.

s.krenz 2015-10-05 17:46 reporter ~0011253	There is an configuration option to define fields from oxarticles table, which are overwritable by subshops. This issue makes the feature unusable! Alpha-Sys 2017-06-14 20:16 reporter ~0012121	The bug still exists in the EE version 5.3.4. If you have an inherited parent article, the save button in the subshop is disabled. So it is not possible to change the article price of the parent article in the subshop and save the changes (it would be saved to the table oxfield2shop). It is possible to save the price of articles without variants and variants itself. But not for parent articles. Please fix the bug because the bug exists for 2 years in the EE.
